I'm sharing my very own experience on how Acne has made me suffered during my teenage life, and what I have done to achieve clear skin. As an Acne sufferer once, I understand every aspect of what this disease does. It does not just do external harm to the skin, it reap off one's social life and affect them emotionally. When my peers were indulging themselves in their teenage life, I was being bugged by this terrible skin of mine...CURSED! Friends, teachers and relatives, who would always question about my skin, thinking that I was ignorance about personal hygience. Most of the time, their questions would put me in a difficult situaltion. There was even once where my cousin posted some sarcastic remarks, making me depressed for the whole day.
Day by day, I was hoping that those zits on my face would start to clear off, believing in what my mum told me...'when you get older, those pimples on your face would disappear'. Often, she would comfort me by saying...'pimples equivalent to youth'. Recalling all that really makes me feel that I was really naive, or should I say that I was just too lazy to do something for my skin. Everything continue as usual, with my skin deteriorating each day I look at it in the mirror. With my face full of zits, I was reluctant to go out with friends, worried that they might make fun of me. In addition, I was drifted away by my Acne, making me unable to concentrate on my studies.
It was only when my condition became so bad at the age of 16, which prompted me to seek treatments in rescuing my face. Three years down, I have seeked countless GP, dermatologists, even beautician. Trying out all sorts of anti-acne products...from acne cream, facial wash to oral medications. After many attempts, depleting much of my savings, I've finally found genuine products that could relieve this terrible skin disease. Here, I would review on top guides/books featuring Acne curing tips (e.g. Mr X Acne anti-acne regime, Acne Cured - The Ebook, and Acne Free in 3 Days), as well as Acne-aid products (e.g Proactiv®) hoping that my experience could benefit and free Acne sufferers.
Regards,
James
